As funny as that may sound, that's exactly what I thought of when I needed to think of a name for the look. It's definitely a feminine take on the outdoorsy, manly look.

Check out the great new bracelet I got from my friend Casey for Christmas. She is actually the one that got me started on my bracelet obsession with the crystal gold link bracelet from J. Crew Factory. Casey's always up and coming on the newest trends.

This bracelet is the Pave Cast Stones Stretch Bracelet from Loft. It regularly runs for $19.50, but if you shop now using the promo code GOODCHEER, you'll get 50% off. Another great thing about this bracelet is that it comes in gold and silver, but Casey, of course, knows me all too well and got me gold.

Who says pastels are just for spring? There are lots of great ways to incorporate pastels into your winter wardrobe, along with wearing what I like to call "winter pastels."

You, of course, don't want to over do it by wearing lots of pastels at once, but you can always incorporate them into your wardrobe in the winter by wearing a pastel shirt or pants and pairing it with sweaters, boots, skirts, leggings, tights, and more. You want to be subtle with the pastels as to not look out there and like you're just clinging to the hope of spring coming soon. In addition, this is a great way to bring a little sunshine into your life and we all know we can sure use that during these cold, winter months.

As for winter pastels, these are pastel colors with a darker/grayer hue to them. They still have that pastel undertone, but aren't as strickily bright or light as your usual pastels. You can see some of my winter pastels, as pictured above, to give you an idea of what I'm talking about.

This is a very common color combo that I have been seeing a lot more lately, especially for weddings.

You can mix and match these two colors any way you'd like.

- Yellow Tank Top - Marshall's
- Navy Blue Peplum Ponte Blazer - Target for $20.98 (This is the one I talked about on my post from 11/27/2013 - Back to Basics: Blazers that I wanted to order. Well I did, and I love the material and the look. It's a perfect addition to my blazer collection)
- Blue and White Pinstriped Scarf - World Market (They really do have some great scarves and jewelry. You wouldn't
think it, but you just have to look.)
                                                            - Bracelets - J. Crew Factory & Kohl's
                                                            - Earrings - See Below

Tip of the Day: If you have a plain scarf, but you want to wear it as an infinity scarf, just tie the two ends together and put it around your neck. Then, wrap the scarf around your neck again to cover up the ends of the scarf and BAM!, you have an infinity scarf.

The reason I am sporting this hat is not because I'm headed out to the ski lodge for a little fun day. It's hat day at school and I decided that was the one I was going to sport, and as I was looking in the mirror this morning I thought, "this would be the perfect outfit to sit in the ski lodge, relaxing with a cup of hot cocoa or cider, and sitting by the fire." I'm not much of a skier, so that's probably exactly what I would be doing. In addition, I needed to wear something "Christmasy", since it is the last day of school before break, so I thought a red sweater would do the trick.

Tip of the Day: If you're planning on wearing a hat all day, put it on before you do your makeup so you can do just the parts that aren't covered by your hat. Why you say? 1) You'll be using less makeup. 2) Your makeup won't rub off and have it just be a complete waste of time putting it on your forehead. 3) You won't get makeup all over your hat.

Wearing pink doesn't mean you're a girly girl or that you've stooped to some new level of low by wearing it. It's just a color. If you like wearing pink, go right ahead and wear it. Pink is a nice color that makes any look, soft and feminine. In addition, pink comes in all different shades. If you want to wear pink, but don't want to go bright and bold right away, start off with a very pale shade of it. Now a days, pink is everyone. Everybody wears pink to show their support for breast cancer awareness. I know I do to show my support. Overall, just do what you feel comfortable with and don't let anybody let you think otherwise. Think Pink!
