Ladies' guide to daily outfits and accessories that you can afford with items even from your own closet

March is Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Month. I personally ask you to show your support by wearing the color orange sometime during the month of March. This cause hits close to home as my father-in-law has been battling multiple sclerosis for some time now.

Below are some great items in orange that you can purchase to show your support.

*If there's a cause you'd like to make known and bring awareness to, please let me know so that I can share it and spread the word.

This is an absolutely ADORABLE must have for winter, and with it only being a couple more months (hopefully), you'll want to get this warm, snugly scarf in time to at least wear it on a few occasions.

You can purchase this Michael Kors Toggle Neck Warmer online from Nordstrom Rack for only $34.80

This is a 40% savings from $58.
Not only is it a great deal, cozy, and cute, but there's 4 different color combinations to choose from. Not to be biased, but the one pictured is definitely my personal favorite.

This outfit makes me feel all warm and cozy inside, and it's all because of the scarf. It was such a great deal at The Limited that I wouldn't dare pass it up. In addition, I just love the color combo of the beige and white. It's definitely a chic winter look. It's the perfect outfit for a snowy day in Wisconsin!

I told you I'd share my new Herringbone Print Athletic Capri Pants and…. here they are! If you didn't see my post from Monday (1/20) when I showed my new athletic top, I mentioned buying these pants too. I bought these pants by MPG from TJMaxx and they were only $24.99. I have seen a lot of this material on Pinterest, especially in vests, which I can't wait to find one of those too, but that's besides the point. When I saw these pants, I knew I had to have them. It's nice because they're not the same material, but just the pattern. I don't think I'd really want to wear that heavy material for working out. It's worth a shot to check out your local TJMaxx or online to see if you can find a pair for yourself, if you like them enough.

Well, here goes nothing! Getting back into working out for 2014!

We all know how much I love my faux fur vest, and how couldn't I?! Faux fur vests are great this time of year and can be paired with so many different options, and today you're in luck! Brickyard Buffalo, which I've never heard of before today and have already fallen in love with, has a Faux Fur Vest on sale for only $23.99. It's 40% off savings from $39.99, but don't wait! The deal is only available for about 2 and 1/2 days now.

Get it while it's hot and while supplies last!!!

Ladies, wedding season is quickly approaching and for all of you brides and future brides out there, it's never too early to figure out what to get your bridesmaids.

I did this for all of my bridesmaid and was so pleased with the look in the end. It turned out great in pictures. Not to mention, we got lots of compliments at the salon.

I ended up getting each of the girls a men's button down shirt with their initials monogrammed onto the pocket. I stuck to my colors and got all of the girls a pink shirt, and then a white shirt for myself. A great place to find a color you'd like, for cheap, is Kohl's (Other great reasons for going to Kohl's is they were also doing $10 in Kohl's cash for every $50 when I bought these and you might be able to get 30% off if you have a Kohl's card). As for sizing, I just asked all the girls what their shirt size was, and then I went down a size since it's in mens, and if they were already a small, just go with small since they typically don't make extra small in mens. (Also, you could do robes instead of shirts, but that would be a bit more expensive.) Once I got the shirts, I took them to a local embroidery place. I recommend putting post-its on each shirt with the initials so the shop knows which shirt/size goes with which initials. For the thread, I did my own shirt with pink thread and the girls with white.

Overall, I was very pleased with how these turned out and you can see for yourself below. We all had them on getting our hair and makeup done. I had all the girls pair the shirts with black leggings/pants because I figured they'd all have this, and it was perfect! I wouldn't have changed a thing about this gift and the girls seemed to love them too!

My Grandma sure knows how to shop. She really picks out great gifts and knows all her grandchildren's styles so well. I got this for Christmas and I LOVE it. It's warm, comfy, big, and stylish. She bought it from TJMaxx. It looks very similar to some of the sweaters that I posted on 12/18/13 - Pattern Love: Fair Isle.
