Ladies' guide to daily outfits and accessories that you can afford with items even from your own closet

My husband would be floored to know that I'm doing a post about this, but I've finally seen the light and come to the realization of how important it truly is to budget! However, I'm here to help you not totally give up your love for shopping at the same time. There's really no point in breaking the bank or racking up $1,000's of dollars in credit card debt just for a shirt or new shoes, but you still deserve to add new clothes to your wardrobe to spice up your life.

So, how do you do this you ask?!? Simple!

1. Make a list of all the clothing items/accessories you want. Be specific about what the item is and where it's from. You can even put the cost to really help you plan and budget. Sometimes, websites allow you to make a wish list to save things you want for later, or to let others know if you happen to have a special occasion coming up. I know Kohl's does this, and so does Target. Too, I would put the items you are most longing for at the top of your list.

2. Allot yourself only $50 to buy items for your wardrobe or purchase only one clothing item/accessory off your list per month. This will allow you to still satisfy your shopping needs, while saving a little bit of money. When you do decide to shop, always make sure you look at size availability and if the item is on clearance before buying anything off your list because if they're running low on your size or the item is clearanced and you know it's seasonal, it might not be there much longer. Then, you need to buy those items first because I sure wouldn't want you to miss out on an item that you're longing to have and absolutely love.

3. Treat yourself to something extra whether you got a bonus or it's a special occasion. Sometimes it's important to praise yourself for doing a good job by closing the deal at work or you just got a promotion. Not only that, you could have a date with this cute guy and feel like you need something new and different or just you want to show off to your hubby for your anniversary. No matter the occasion, you'll either have a little extra money coming in from work now or money saved up from not spending so much each month, that it's okay to go out there and treat yourself to something new. Just remember.... don't go crazy!

4. If you just can't control yourself when shopping, I suggest you get a part-time job to pay for your spending habits. However, this will also help you to stop spending so much because then, you won't have as much time to go shopping since you'll be working two jobs. Or else when you do, I guess you'll just go shopping with a bang!
