Ladies' guide to daily outfits and accessories that you can afford with items even from your own closet

March is Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Month. I personally ask you to show your support by wearing the color orange sometime during the month of March. This cause hits close to home as my father-in-law has been battling multiple sclerosis for some time now.

Below are some great items in orange that you can purchase to show your support.

Scarves are the perfect way to add a pop of color or print to any outfit. This also gives people that are a little bit more afraid to branch out into wearing more bright colors or bolder prints the opportunity to ease themselves into it.

Scarves aren't meant just for winter anymore. Scarves are made from so many different materials and with various styles that they can be worn all year round, depending on the type of scarf. There are still certain scarves meant only for specific seasons, like heavy knit scarves are meant for winter, while pastel, floral prints are usually intended more for spring and summer.

Most often, you can purchase scarves at any of your favorites stores or boutiques. There's such a wide variety that it would be hard to find something you don't love. Not only that, but they're reasonable in price. It's a cheap accessory that you can sport all year long.

Here's a great site for different ways to wear your scarves:  http://www.scarves.net/scarf-tying-index.html

If you couldn't already tell, I absolutely love the actresses with the girl-next-door look about them. Rachel McAdams is just like Jennifer Aniston in the sense that she goes for very simple, but it works and her outfits are still something to talk about. Ultimately, they both don't need to go over-the-top with their clothes because if I had their gorgeous looks, I definitely wouldn't want to take away from or hide what's already there.

Not only does Rachel McAdams look absolutely fabulous in her simple every day casual wear, but she, without-a-doubt, rocks it when it comes to her gowns/dresses for award shows and red carpets. You should definitely check out some of these looks. I don't know how you wouldn't be able to agree with me.

I love this outfit (pictured) of hers because it's perfect for a spring/summer weekend just running errands or having a lunch date. It's something you can throw on quick, but it still looks good.

With Valentine's Day only a mere two weeks away, it's time to start preparing, especially if you're the type of person that tends to be just down right giddy and in love this time of year, here are some great ways to show it off!

1. White Tank Tops

I wear these under EVERYTHING. They're great when you have a shirt that might be a bit too thin to wear alone or a shirt that's a tad on the shorter side. Also, tank tops can give you a barrier between your skin and an itchy sweater. In addition, white is nice because it goes with everything. I like wearing camisoles because they're more form fitting and don't show as much as thicker tops.

2. Laser Cut Clutches

The first time I saw something with the laser cut style, I fell head over heels in love with it! I like how it's different than your run of the mill prints/patterns, and it gives the purse a different dimension. With this type of style, you can always go feminine or edgy depending on the type you choose.

I also recommend checking TJMaxx or Marshall's because I found some great Ivanka Trump ones there for much cheaper than on Amazon.

NYX Slide On Pencil - Target ($7.99)

3. White Eyeliner

This is a cheap way to make your eyes pop and take way from the tired look. I like using it on just the inner corner of my eyes to make my eyes look brighter, and it definitely gives the illusion of looking not quite so tired if you happen to be. It works with any skin tone.
I got mine from Target. I bought the E.L.F. and it cost me no more than $3.

4. Wrap Watches

These are a favorite of mine because at times, you don't even need to wear jewelry with them since there's enough going on with the watch all on it's own.

Ray-Ban RX5281 - Target Optical ($199.99)

5. Tortoise Shell Glasses

I have tried on a few different pairs of these at Target, but I just can't decide which pair I like to fit my face. They definitely give a sophisticated look when you're wearing them, and I like that they can go with whatever you're wearing.

In honor of Hart of Dixie being back on TV tonight, I felt it only appropriate to do a post about Rachel Bilson's fab looks. Since The OC, Rachel Bilson has always had the girl next door look, and she still does to this day. Her looks are always so simple and chic like the one pictured here.

Here's my new skirt that I just bought for only $19.98 at Francesca's. I wore it the other day and got quite a few compliments on it. It's great paired with black tights and a black top, or you could even do a pop of color top to compliment it. In addition, I wore it with a black scarf and my new Lauren Conrad pearl earrings that my sister got me for Christmas (check them out below), but you could also do a pearl necklace or a cream colored necklace.
